From Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER):
You have two convenient options from the airport’s underground railway station:
- Take the S-Bahn line S9 for 12 stops to Ostbahnhof. This direct route usually takes about 45 minutes.
- Or take the regional train RB24 or RB32 for two stops to Berlin Ostkreuz. From there, switch to the S-Bahn line S3, S5, or S7 and ride two stops to Ostbahnhof. This option usually takes about 30 minutes.
At Ostbahnhof, exit through the main hall, turn left, and you’ll spot the red MEININGER sign a short walk away.
From Berlin Central Station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof):
If your long-distance train stops at Ostbahnhof, you can get off there and walk directly to the hotel. If not, take the S-Bahn lines S3, S5, S7, or S9 from Hauptbahnhof to Ostbahnhof. Leave the station through the main hall, turn left, and look for the red MEININGER sign. The journey usually takes about 20 minutes.
